British Airways (operated by Comair) has commenced its new route between O.R. Tambo International Airport, and Maputo International Airport, Mozambique.
Johannesburg, 6 May 2013: Today British Airways (operated by Comair) within southern Africa, took its maiden flight from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, departing at 09:00, to Maputo International Airport, arriving at 10:05.
The flight on this route is a short 65-minute trip from O.R. Tambo International Airport. The flight schedule comprises of daily return flights with a double daily service on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which is conveniently timed to enable ease of connectivity for international travellers transferring through O.R Tambo International Airport to Maputo.
Customers travelling to and from Maputo will fly in comfort on British Airways' fleet of Boeing 737-300 and 400s, and will have a choice of two cabins, Club (business class) or Traveller (economy class).
