TOZI, an authentic Italian cicchetti restaurant located in the heart of London Victoria, has created a series of brand new experiential cooking classes to teach children how to make popular Italian dishes.

Taught by the restaurant's Head Chef, Maurilio Molteni, with assistance from the enthusiastic all-Italian kitchen team, children aged five and above will get to grips with two classic mains and desserts - pizza, filled pasta, biscotti and gelato.

The TOZINI classes will accommodate up to six children at a time, ensuring that each child receives hands-on tuition as they learn to create each dish completely from scratch. From making their own pasta and pizza dough to choosing their ingredients, children will go through each stage of the cooking process before tucking into their finished products.

Launching on 8 April 2014, the TOZINI classes are priced at £10 each and will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm - 5pm during the Easter, half-term and summer school holidays*. 

"In Italy, children are welcomed into the kitchen from a young age to learn how to make classic family recipes that have been passed down through the generations," says Maurilio Molteni. "We want to introduce this tradition to British children, teach them some practical life skills and pass on our passion for creating delicious meals."

TOZI is an 80-seat, vibrant Italian restaurant and bar located in London, Victoria, specialising in cicchetti (small plates), inspired by the Venetian casual dining tradition and contemporary Italian cocktails.
