We would like to invite you to the launch of City Cruises' City Alpha, back afloat following a seven figure refurbishment. Boasting a contemporary design and new upper deck offering panoramic views of London's beautiful skyline, we hope you can join us to celebrate the ship's christening for an evening of drinks and canapés on 20th September 2016.
Holding up to 399 passengers, the ship offers all-weather, all-round view of the river and has the key feature of a retractable glazed roof. It will be christened by Godmother Carol John-Gordon, the winner of a competition to find the most inspiring Londoner. Carol was born in Islington in 1961 and has spent her life raising money for charity including participating in Firewalk to raise money for Springboard.
The vessel will depart from Westminster Pier at 19:00 but you also have the option to join City Alpha at Cherry garden Pier, Bermondsey where it will there remained docked, and where the christening celebration will take place from 19:30.
