Citrus Media has added two new luxury Chinese/Australian travel magazines to its portfolio. Following on from the huge success of Higher View - which launched over a year ago and is available in premium class on China Eastern Airlines flights, in five-star hotels across Australia, on the newsstand and in digital formats - SkyScape and Phoenix are now the latest additions to the publisher's stable.
All three bilingual magazines are produced in partnership with the CNTO (Chinese National Tourism Office) and demonstrate the very best in high-end travel in both China and Australia.
SkyScape will be distributed on-board all China Southern Airlines flights outbound and inbound between Australia and China, with Phoenix on-board Air China, The print magazines will be available from October 23 and digital versions of all three will be free to download in the Apple App Store. "The new titles are a testament to the success of Higher View," says Alex Mead, group editor at Citrus Media. "We pride ourselves on the strength of our editorial and photography. We really get to the heart of destinations in both countries, whether it's Beijing and Brisbane or Sydney and Shanghai.
Jim Flynn, publisher, says, "It is a delight to work with a visionary organisation like CNTO and three world-class Chinese airlines. I look forward to the three magazines encouraging increased travel and tourism between Australia and China and providing a valuable on-board resource in Mandarin for Chinese visitors arriving in Australia."
As with previous editions of Higher View, the new magazines will cover the very best in not only travel, but also fashion, food, wine, motoring, art and celebrities, with the likes of Li Na and Mark Webber among those to have featured.
