Cimber Air Launches Non-Stop Route From Newcastle To Copenhagen

VisitDenmark

On March 25, Cimber Air launches a brand new route from Newcastle to Copenhagen. The service will be the only direct air link between Newcastle and Copenhagen and offers one daily flight seven days a week.

When Danish airliner Cimber Air adds the new non-stop route from Newcastle to Copenhagen to its product portfolio, the airline will use CRJ regional jets with seating capacity for 50 passengers and offer one daily frequency seven days a week.

Cimber Air is best known for its reliable domestic services from Copenhagen to Billund, Bornholm, Karup, Soenderborg and Aalborg and will therefore be an obvious choice for British business and leisure travellers who wish to visit not only the bustling Danish capital of Copenhagen, but also the rest of Denmark.

Henrik Kahn, Director of VisitDenmark UK & Ireland, comments:

This is a great opportunity for VisitDenmark to expand its marketing activities into the northern parts of England and Scotland in close cooperation with some very professional people from within the industry. We do hope that Cimber Airs new route will create a lot of awareness about Copenhagen amongst the locals and look forward to establishing a fruitful working relationship with Cimber Air in order to attract as many new customers as possible to the Danish capital.

Cimber Airs new Copenhagen-Newcastle service is expected to attract both leisure and business travellers. It is also very likely that UK passengers will use the new connection to Copenhagen not only for the purpose of visiting the grand capital of THE happiest people in world itself, with forthcoming events like the Copenhagen Catwalk, Copenhagen Architecture & Design Days and Copenhagen Jazz Festival on its agenda, but also as an attractive international hub to the rest of Scandinavia and the Baltics.
