New Foot Treatment Is Both Relaxing and Detoxifying

Chuan Spa's most talked about new treatment is putting some guests to sleep. The spa's signature foot therapy is called Chuan Heavenly Jing Luo. Like it's moniker suggests, it's heaven-sent.

The treatment is performed in one of Chuan Spa's zero gravity recliners in the spa's touch room.

Known for soothing guests into a deep state of relaxation, the treatment also helps drain fluid, detoxify and boost the immune system.

During the 90 minute treatment guests are pampered with a foot mask laden with traditional Chinese herbs and hot stones followed by a restorative 70 minute massage that is not only calming but also helps optimise the flow of blood and “Qi” and promote revitalisation as well as nourishing the skin.

“The mask draws out toxins while the massage follows the meridian lines of the feet. Between the mask and the massage, the liver, spleen and kidneys detoxify and the immune system gets a boost that also promotes healing,” comments Chuan Spa's manager, Micheline Trigg.

“Some guests slip into a sleep during the treatment and report that following the treatment they feel lighter, calmer and attribute a deep night's sleep to the foot treatment,” adds Trigg.
