The position has been described as “Heaven on Earth” where you can look at the view for hours at a time. In the distance you are able to see the Basilica of San Francesco at Assisi and the mountain ranges of Le Marche.

The cottages have been lovingly restored using all traditional methods by the current owners, David and Chrissie, who live in the main farmhouse, with their family. There are 3 separate cottages all designed to ensure each has its own private area and terrace and located to enjoy the magnificent views.

There are 2 ½ acres of private gardens including an olive grove, vegetable garden, herb garden, wonderful children's playground and a herd of small of friendly Alpacas.

There is a traditional outdoor wood-burning bread over and once a week the owner hold a pizza night to encourage their guests to make their own pizzas.

Umbria comes alive and sparkles at Christmas time. At Christmas-tide solemn rites are celebrated in the churches of Umbria. Concerts of church music and choirs are held in all the places of worship. There are many artistic crèches of great beauty to be enjoyed and also living crèches that are enacted in many towns.

The 'presepe' at Corciano is very special as the whole of the historical centre is lined with life-sized models of Three Kings, Baby Jesus and every medieval tradesmen you can think of. Also there is a typical products market.

Spectacular and charming is the Christmas Tree of Gubbio – the largest in the world.
