Choice Hotels Launches World's Greatest Sales Blitz

On Monday, November 15, worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH) is launching the World�s Greatest Sales Blitz, an initiative designed to thank the travel agent community for its continuous support of the lodging industry.

During the sales blitz, which ends November 19, employees and franchisees of Choice Hotels will visit more than 25,000 travel agencies, AAA motor clubs, sports associations, and corporate travel offices in the U.S. and 10,000 key international clients thanking them for their business and offering training, incentives and a free meal.

Choice Hotels� fall promotions, Choice Privileges and Ea$y Choice reward programs and the benefits of Choice Hotels centralized commission program will be outlined at each visit.

�We want to leave the agents with a lasting impression of their importance to us as customers and partners,� said Wayne Wielgus, Choice�s executive vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer. �The World�s Greatest Sales Blitz is our way to reach out to the travel agent community to simply say �thanks for your business�.�

Front desk clerks, sales and management staff from Choice Hotels� Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway Inn brand hotels around the world as well as associates from Choice Hotels� corporate offices, will systematically participate in pre-assigned sales calls. To maximize their efforts, each team has received extensive sales training and collateral material to present during the meetings. Incentives will be available to all qualifying agents, intermediaries and Choice Hotels blitz participants.

The sales blitz will kick-off with a cocktail reception in New York City on Monday, November 15 from 5pm-8pm at The Cornell Club on W. 44th Street.
