Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza has confirmed the music legends that will headline its weekly 'Children of the 80's' party for the 2019 season, promising a summer of addictive 'old school' vibes and rocking Eurodance anthems.
Opening on 31 May with German synth-pop band Alphaville, 'Children of the 80's' will take place every Friday from 6pm for 18 weeks at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza's beach-front open-air stage.
Over the following weeks, music icons from the eighties and nineties will take it in turns to headline the event, including British rapper Ice MC (7 June), Danish singer Whigfield (21 June), and Spanish duo OBK (28 June).
Known as 'the queen of house' and the 'diva of dance', legendary singer and songwriter Barbara Tucker will be gracing the stage four times over the course of the summer, starring in 'Children of the 80's' parties on 14 June, 19 July, 23 August and 20 September.
There will be a tribute to British music royalty on 5 July with Queen Machine paying homage to Queen, followed the next week by Italian popstar Gala on 12 July. The music of Whitney Houston will feature on 26 July with Queen of the Night.
Eurodance and pop acts also feature in the 2019 line-up with electronic group N-Trance (2 August), pop rock singer Katrina (9 August) and English singer-songwriter Tina Cousins (30 August).
Cover band U Rock will keep the Hard Rock legacy strong on 6 September with their renditions of the biggest anthems from yesteryear, followed by Italian Eurodance act Double You on 13 September.
The 'Children of the 80's' 2019 season will come to an end with its closing party on 27 September, headlined by German dance act Snap!.
In addition to the guest artists, each party is supported by DJ acts Dream Team Reload and La Movida, as well as saxophonist Lugotti, while acrobats, dancers, entertainers and flamboyant costumes will add to the nostalgic atmosphere.
A monthly 'Children of the 80's' party also takes place throughout the year at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
