Chic New Boat Shed Accommodation Brings Wave Of Luxury To West Coast Hotel

Ardanaiseig

Romantic luxury hotel, Ardanaiseig, on the West Coast of Scotland, has just added a beautiful Boat Shed over the shores of Loch Awe to its unique array of bedrooms. Set above the water and overlooking the craggy peaks of the Scottish Highlands, the Boat Shed offers chic, contemporary accommodation in seductively tranquil surroundings. Manager Peter Webster says This has been a pipe dream for a long time and we are thrilled with the result. It is the perfect place for insatiable romantics looking for something a bit special, and ideal for wedding couples on the first night of their honeymoon. The Boat Shed is set in a secluded loch-side location away from the main house. With a full length glass wall, the king size bed takes full advantage of the panoramic views from its elevated position on the mezzanine level, while the luxury bathroom offers outstanding vistas of the Scottish Highlands from the double tub and seductive mood lighting. Ardanaiseig boasts sixteen other charming bedrooms in the main house, all named after local lochs, glens and castles, and individually furnished with original antiques. The excellent restaurant is one of the best in the Highlands, with an extravagant menu featuring fresh, locally caught fish, seafood, and local game. Ardanaiseigs dramatic setting offers the ideal place to get away from it all, to explore the rivers, lochs, craggy peaks and isolated beaches of the Highlands whether on foot, by boat or by seaplane. Theres a row of wellies awaiting you in the great hall for every adventure. A variety of country sports are also available in the vicinity. For those less inclined to venture outdoors, theres a telescope in the drawing room trained on the wildlife on the loch below and theres always a hearty log fire in front of which to curl up with a book.
