Chewton Glen continued its run of success when Sales Director - MICE, Lisa Lernoux-Dock (pictured far left) picked-up the Silver trophy in the 'M&IT Industry Awards 2014' for the category of 'Best UK Hotel'. The Gold Award went to The Celtic Manor Resort and Bronze to St. Ermin's Hotel in London. Chewton Glen has consistently been shortlisted amongst the best properties in these prestigious awards. Over the last decade it has received two Gold awards, three Bronze and two Silver accolades.

More than 1,000 influential guests attended the prestigious M&IT Industry Awards 2014 ceremony, which were held on Tuesday 25th February at Battersea Evolution.  This glittering, glamorous back-tie occasion presented a fabulous opportunity to meet industry leaders and celebrity guests, who gathered for this special evening  which raised in excess of £13,000 on the night for the meeting industry's own charity 'Meeting Industry Meeting Needs'.

A total of 4,661 M&IT readers cast more than 13,000 votes for the awards, which were compered on Tuesday night by BBC presenter Kate Silverton. M&IT Managing Editor Martin Lewis was honoured for his support for the charity, having helped raise a total of £1.3m for worthy causes around the world.
