Chelsea Foundation Soccer School Kicks Off Easter at La Manga Club

La Manga Club

The inaugural Chelsea FC Foundation Soccer School will provide the highlight of an action-packed Easter programme for families at Spain's La Manga Club, with free nights among a range of attractive benefits on offer at the award-winning five-star resort.

Guests can take advantage of an array of discounts and savings when booking a holiday of five nights or more at the award-winning Murcia resort before January 31.
The Chelsea Foundation soccer school – the first of a series that will be held at La Manga Club over the next three years – will take place from April 9-14 and offers the chance for youngsters to train using the same methods the Chelsea Foundation employs around the world.
Open to boys and girls between the ages of six and 16, the school includes up to three hours' daily training from the Foundation's team of expert coaches, with all participants receiving an official Chelsea Foundation Nike training kit of a shirt, shorts and socks. Prices start from €295 (approx £260) per person for a week-long training programme.

La Manga Club is also running its own junior football academy from March 26 until April 2 as well as a three-week children's animation programme over Easter, while there are a number of other academies over the holiday period that are suitable for all the family. These include golf and tennis, while special rates are available on a range of sports and activities in or nearby the venue including golf, tennis, diving, cycling and watersports.

Bookable from March 23 to April 23, the '5 for 4' Easter discounted breaks are available at the resort's five-star Hotel Principe Felipe and four-star Las Lomas Village apartments and townhouses.

And guests looking to visit La Manga Club later in the year can also enjoy great savings with the resort offering seven nights for the price of six when staying a minimum seven nights between March and August.

All packages include a 10 per cent discount at selected resort restaurants as well as complimentary use of Spa La Manga Club's fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms, free shuttle bus service and entry to the resort's Junior Club for children aged five to 12 from Monday to Friday. Breaks are inclusive of VAT and are based on two people sharing a room.

Nestling across 1,400 acres in Murcia, south-east Spain, La Manga Club continues to set the standard as Europe's favourite sports and leisure destination. Among the top accolades it has received recently, La Manga Club was named 'Europe's Leading Luxury Resort & Villas 2017' at the World Travel Awards Europe and 'Europe's Best Golf Venue' at the 2017 World Golf Awards.

In addition to outstanding sports facilities, amenities at the resort – the official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association – include a 2,000sqm Wellness Centre and new High Performance Sports Centre. It also offers the choice of a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses, and more than 15 bars and restaurants.

 Five-night Easter breaks for a family of four, staying in a two-bedroom townhouse in Las Lomas Village, are available at La Manga Club from March 23 until April 23 from only €661.68 (approx £615) including one night free.
