Chateau de Chine Hotel Hualien works with Jimmy S.P.A. providing themed space to promote respect for the Earth and friendly coexistence between different species as memorable vacation experience

    Chateau de Chine Hotel Hualien, located in the East part of Taiwan, a five-star hotel with commitment to arts, culture, environmental protection, and thoughtful service, works with renowned painting book artist Jimmy for the first time to tactfully blend Jimmy's work Cuddles into the hotel design.  Classic main characters in Cuddles among others -- e.g., Red Hair Lion, Little Boy, Pink Pig, White Rabbit, Giraffe, etc. -- are now by the fountain, at the lobby, and in the swimming pool area of the hotel to welcome and entertain everyone.  In addition to these public areas, there are four types of Jimmy-themed guestrooms at NT$4,999 plus a 10% service charge per room for two persons to enjoy a one-night stay with two meals, high tea, and a daily event of Red Hair Lion cuddling -- every 1,000 cuddles will lead to a donation of 100 breads to the underprivileged to share the warmth of such cuddling.  Chateau de Chine Hualien welcomes children and parents to together take part in a special tour of Jimmy's works and stay at the hotel to explore the fun of Jimmy's dreamy fairy tale world.

　Jimmy's works always communicate how to wholeheartedly live and enjoy the life, consistent with business philosophy of Chateau de Chine Hualien.  Therefore, working with Jimmy, the hotel has blended the idea of Jimmy's Cuddles into its space design at the beginning of the summer break.  This is an attempt to help hotel guests feel a modest attitude towards the natural environment that Jimmy's works always imply.  In his works, the size of animals is always several times bigger than mankind in order to show how little mankind is and advocate the value of friendly coexistence between different species.  Showcasing that love is the greatest gift endowed by heaven, the hotel has Little Boy and Red Hair Lion sitting quietly by the fountain in front of its main gate with gifts of love wrapped in a globe to welcome hotel guests.  A pillar by the lobby counter is transformed into Pink Pig cuddling Little Boy as another surprise.  In the outdoor swimming pool and ecological area, there are White Rabbit by the recliner chair, lifebelt donned Giraffe, seesaw-playing Pink Elephant, and Green Frog awaiting his princess kissing, and paddling Duck to entertain everyone.  The four themes for 29 guestrooms are based on Jimmy's paining books Cuddles, Hiding into a Conner of the World, and A Spring Afternoon, re-collaging what the painting books tell to develop a fairy tale-like poetic space to help hotel guests feel as cozy and warm as home while communicating the deepest love for the Earth.

　The cooperation between Jimmy and Chateau de Chine Hualien is intended to provide a soul-soothing experience in addition to comfort and relaxation, so that each moment of vacationing at the hotel would be even more significant and valuable.  In particular, the hotel hopes its guests to really appreciate the moral of Cuddles in order to help make life better by strengthening positive feelings of generous sharing, gratitude, as well as mutual care and support.
