Charley Boorman Goes Cliff Camping In Colorado

Colorado Tourism Office

This week's final episode of Charley Boorman's US Adventure on Thursday 12 December features Charley trying the extreme activity of cliff camping in Colorado where he spends the night camping out on a sheer rock face hundreds of feet above the ground.

Charley's activity was organised by Kent Mountain Adventure Centre in Estes Park. From 2014 they will be the one of the very first centres in the U.S. to offer cliff camping to the public. The centre has introduced a package for either lunch or an overnight stay and is open to all abilities even those with little climbing skills. A professional guide sets up camp and explains the climbing basics. Kent Mountain Adventure Centre will open in May 2014 and run through to September.

The packages on offer are based on 1-3 people. For the overnight package prices range from $600 each for 3 people, $800 each for 2 people and $1,100 for 1 person. For lunch only, prices range from £300-$500 each. Kent Mountain Adventure Centre provides all food and equipment. For more information visit http://kmaconline.com/cliff-camping-colorado/
