With bridal season among us, the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CACVB) releases its second annual Wedding Guide. The guide provides couples with the most up-to-date information about area accommodations, wedding planners, ceremony locations, food & beverage, reception/rehearsal/luncheon sites, activities & outings, transportation, and marriage licenses in the Charleston, SC Area.
From her breathtaking plantations to her romantic, Atlantic coast beaches as well as her traditional 18th century churches, Charleston is a great place to propose a destination wedding. Opportunities are endless when planning a wedding in Charleston. Couples may also choose to repeat vows while cruising the Charleston Harbor or under a gazebo in Battery Park.
Among her many accolades, Charleston has been named Most Romantic Getaway as well as Most Romantic and Top Honeymoon Destination which has prompted more and more brides to choose this as their wedding destination.
New to the guide this year were quotes from brides who chose to tie the knot here. Linda Schwefler Stevens of Atlanta, GA said Planning a wedding in Charleston was so easy! It was a better value to have a wedding in Charleston versus Atlanta, and we didnt have to worry about entertaining our guests since its such a beautiful and unique destination.
Twice as many Wedding Guides were printed this year due to the enormous demand from last year. The Wedding Guide was created in response to the thousands of wedding inquiries that the CACVB receives every year, and it is distributed complimentary to those who request it via www.CharlestonCVB.com or by phone. The wedding guide can also be accessed online at www.CharlestonWeddingGuide.com.
