Residents and holidaymakers at La Manga Club raised more than 42,000 for charity in the resorts inaugural October Fiesta.
The celebration saw more than 60 special events take place throughout the month up to three a day including fashion shows, art exhibitions and a fun run.
The month-long fiesta also encompassed some of the resorts more familiar activities with sports events including golf, tennis and cricket and evenings of themed entertainment.
The money will go to cancer charities in the UK and Spain with Cancer Research UK and Asociacion Espanola Contra el Cancer both set to benefit.
Eileen Dunmore, a member of the fiestas organising committee, said: Theres always a fantastic atmosphere at La Manga Club but the fiesta made October even more special.
Its amazing that so many events took place in such a short space of time and testament to hard work of all those involved.
Im delighted we managed to raise such an impressive amount for our two nominated charities and hopefully this will lead to similar successful events in the future.

Between two seas Region of Murcia Discover the two seas that bathe the Regions coastline. The Mediterranean is a warm sea, dotted with coves and fine sandy beaches, which offers unforgettable diving both because of the clarity of its waters and because of the exuberance of the marine life that thrives there. The Mar Menor is the ideal setting for water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, canoeing or jet-skiing. The absence of large waves makes this lagoon into an unbeatable ally when it comes to harnessing the winds. Suitable for all levels. Whatever the time of year, there are more than 30 water sport schools along the coast. Here the sun is always shining. www.murciaturistica.es
