InterContinental Hong Kong’s Managing Director Jean-Jacques Reibel is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Charis Yim as the hotel’s Senior Director of Events.

Charis brings to her new position over 19 years of experience in the hotel industry in Corporate Sales,
MICE and Leisure Sales.

Prior to joining InterContinental Hong Kong, Charis spent over eleven years with the Peninsula Hong Kong– serving as Director of Sales from 2007-2013, working her way up the ranks in Sales & Marketing since 2002. Prior to that, she worked in Sales and Catering Departments for the New World Renaissance Hotel and Holiday Inn Crown Plaza Harbourview.

A graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Hotel & Tourism Management, Charis has also studied at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

With her wealth of experience in the luxury hotel industry and event planning, Charis is now heading InterContinental Hong Kong’s Events Team, who offers a full range of personalised services for Weddings, Celebrations, Gala Events, Meetings & Incentives, as well as Outside Catering anywhere in Hong Kong.
