The five-star Hotel d’Inghilterra is extending a warm welcome to visitors looking to cool off near Rome’s Spanish Steps this summer, with a luxury gelato and champagne offer that will bring a taste of Dolce Vita to sweeten your Roman holiday.

Frequented by the roman elite as well as international visitors, Café Romano offers an eclectic menu of traditional Italian dishes with an innovative twist.

Privately owned by an Italian family, the boutique Hotel D’Inghilterra, or ‘the English hotel’, has long had ties to Britain. The luxury property was a firm favourite of the poet Keats, and Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory Peck, Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway during the Dolce Vita years of the early 1900s.

Inghilterra’s Café Romano is offering the Dolce Vita Deal where visitors can enjoy two scoops of home-made gelato with a flute of méthode Champenoise Italian spumante for €16 euros plus 10% VAT.  Two night’s accommodation at Hotel d’Inghilterra including dinner, bed and breakfast starts from €790 euros, based on two adults staying in a Classic Double. City tax of €3 euros per person per night is payable in cash upon check out.
