Dorchester Collection's three properties in the UK - The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane in London and Coworth Park in Berkshire - will be offering a variety of ways to celebrate Christmas this winter, from special overnight rates and Christmas brunches to festive magicians and floral masterclasses, 'tis indeed the season to be jolly!
The Dorchester is starting the holiday season offering festive amenities to decorate each room and suite to each guest's taste. Ranging from "Festive Wreath" package to "Festive Collection", guests will be spoilt with choice being able to embellish their room with a Christmas wreath, Christmas tree, and The Dorchester mince pies amenities. Martinis at The Bar at China Tang and Festive Afternoon Tea will also be available for guests to create the perfect Christmas experience whilst staying at the hotel. Prices start at £55.
Throughout December, a gingerbread house replica of the hotel and a Sweet Emporium will decorate the main lobby and live festive music will be played throughout the season. Christmas carols will be sung at weekends during afternoon teas, families will be entertained by a magician and children will get the chance to meet Father Christmas himself.
The Grill at The Dorchester will be serving a Thanksgiving lunch and dinner on Thursday 28 November 2013, followed by a classic Christmas lunch and dinner menu throughout December, and festive-themed menus will also be available in the run up to Christmas Day and on Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Guests dining at China Tang at The Dorchester or at three Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester can also enjoy their special Christmas menus.
Taking place in The Dorchester Spa's Spatisserie, a Festive Floral Masterclass with Florist at The Dorchester will be available upon request. Under the expert guidance of the hotel's Florist team, guests can discover how to hand-make a beautifully scented pine cone wreath as well as a striking traditional posy candle arrangement. A rewarding Festive Afternoon Tea followed by a Shape Up & Polish nail treatment also included. Priced at £250 per person.
Also in London, 45 Park Lane is located steps away from The Dorchester and offers a contemporary Christmas hideaway. The latest addition to Mayfair includes 45 rooms and suites, a Penthouse Suite with a wrap-around terrace and Wolfgang Puck's first outlet in Europe, CUT at 45 Park Lane, offering a tempting Christmas menu accompanied by a music trio on Christmas Day. For guests wishing to stay for two nights or more, a Suite Celebration Package has been arranged and includes a £75 per room per night credit that can be used against in-room dining, drinks and appetisers at Bar 45 or dinner at CUT at 45 Park Lane. From Sunday 18 November 2012 to Thursday 31 January 2013, guestrooms will be available from £486 per night including VAT and breakfast and suites from £834 per night, including VAT and breakfast. Reservations for the two night stay must be prepaid and is subject to availability.
To celebrate the holiday season in true American style, executive chef David McIntyre will be serving an exceptional seasonal menu throughout the festivities, from a Thanksgiving menu on Thursday 28 November 2012 to a New Year's Day three-course celebratory brunch menu; priced from £65 per person and including festive American sides such as roasted chestnuts, red jewel sweet potato gratin with toasted pecan and desserts such as, Bourbon Pecan Pie.
The nearby Bar 45 will start off the festive season with a delightful Thanksgiving cocktail created to complement small tasting portions of some of Puck's signature dishes available on its Rough CUTs menu in November, followed in December by a celebratory £45 offer where residents and non-residents will be able to enjoy a bottle of Besserat de Bellefon "Cuvée des Moines" NV Champagne accompanied by a selection of four appetisers to share. In addition, the Media Room offers private dining for up to 12 guests and will serve festive breakfasts, lunches and dinners from its newly launched private dining menus.

From 23 November 2013 to 7 January 2014, Christmas Afternoon Tea will be served in The Drawing Room with a choir singing festive carols during weekend sittings. Seasonal Christmas menus have been designed by executive chef, Brian Hughson and will be offered at Restaurant Coworth Park and The Barn. Non-residents are welcome to join and private dining is also available upon request.
'Christmas at Coworth Park' is a two or three-night celebratory affair and begins with Christmas Afternoon Tea and pre-dinner champagne on arrival, followed by dinner in either The Barn or Restaurant Coworth Park - depending on guests' preference - on Christmas Eve, ending with a transfer to Holy Trinity Church in Sunningdale for Midnight Communion. The following days include festive breakfasts, lunches and dinners, tea and cakes served alongside entertainment by Coworth Park's pianist; The Tower House cinema room will be showcasing a wide selection of movies with a range of snacks and drinks; complimentary Chocolate Masterclass with the Neils Verwiej, winner of 2013 "Newcomer of the Year" Academy of Chocolate Award, and a Wine Tasting Masterclass available for adults on Boxing Day, followed by Santa Segway races, falconry display and an evening story time with cookies and milk for young guests; a behind-the-scene tour of the hotel; Live music in the Mansion House, membership to the dedicated Coworth Park Kids club and much more. 'Christmas at Coworth Park' is available from Saturday 24 December 2013 and starts from £850 inclusive of VAT and breakfast per person in a Stable Room for two nights; and from £1275 inclusive of VAT and breakfast per person in a Stable Room for three nights. New Year's Eve from £525.
Guests seeking some pampering during their stay can head to the award-winning Spa at Coworth Park, which features eight treatment rooms, including two doubles, manicure/pedicure suite, a gym, heated indoor swimming pool with underwater music, relaxation room and The Spatisserie.
