Perfectly located in the heart of the City of Light, facing the Jardin des Tuileries, Dorchester Collection's Le Meurice invites guests to take part in its traditional Children's Carnival celebrations.
On Sunday March 9 2014, this leading luxury Parisian hotel will open its doors and invite guests and families to participate in this animated and vibrant event.
Each Children's Carnival has its own highly colourful theme. As 2014 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-French diplomatic relations, this event marks the friendship between the people of France and China, and promises to astound with its warm, richly colourful ambiance. The lineup includes noisy farandoles, tricolour costumes, Chinese folklore and beaming smiles all around!
Young prodigies from the prestigious Stanlowa school of dance will perform a dazzling show specially created for the occasion. These adventures into the magic and art of movement as well as balloon, make-up and funny tattoo workshops, will amuse even the most hard to please of children. The much anticipated children's parade allows parents to see their own 'Little Emperors' in all their flamboyant glory. The day will culminate with a heap of sweet treats available at a buffet specially prepared by Pastry Chef Cédric Grolet.
The Children's Carnival is an event for all ages, and a perfect afternoon of fun and frivolity, so don your masks get ready, and book!
Children's Carnival at Le Meurice - Sunday, March 9, 3:30-6pm
