Bar Rouge, located in Kimpton Rouge Hotel, is also celebrating the Olympics by adding the flavour of Rio to its bar menu during the Games. Known as Brazil's national spirit, cachaça is made from fresh sugarcane juice that is fermented and distilled. Bar Rouge has adopted this spirit with its featured Olympics-inspired cocktail “Stick It”, created by bartender Naderia Wynn. The name refers to a successful landing in gymnastics, and the drink is a mix of Novo Fogo cachaça with green tea, strawberry, lime, and orgeat syrup.
