To celebrate Mother's Day, mouth-watering limited-time menus will be available May 10-11 at The Venetian Macao's Canton, Portofino, and Bambu; and at Sands Cotai Central's Dynasty 8 and Grand Orbit. What's more? In order to further show appreciation for motherhood and to support the local community, handmade flowers purchased from the Macau Association of the Parents of the Mentally Handicapped will be presented as gifts to female diners at the aforementioned restaurants to spread cheer and joy during the special weekend.
Mother's Day Menus at The Venetian Macao
Canton
Canton is offering two unique Mother's Day set menus May 11, featuring eight courses for either MOP 680* or MOP 880* per person.
The former offers delectable dishes like double boiled seafood soup with matsutake mushrooms; braised sea cucumber and goose web in abalone sauce; fried prawns with salty egg yolk and egg white; and more. The latter includes exquisite dishes like braised shark's fin with shredded chicken in brown sauce; braised sliced Australian abalone and sea cucumber with spotted mushrooms; and stir-fried grouper fillets with crab meat and vegetables.
The elegantly decorated restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine, and has been highlighted in the 2014 Michelin guide for Hong Kong and Macau, and was also featured in Hong Kong Tatler's Restaurants 2014 and in Wine Spectator magazine's 2013 Award of Excellence.

Portofino
Lovely décor and authentic Italian cuisine await diners on this year's Mother's Day at Portofino, awarded a Best of Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator magazine in 2013.
On May 11, an exceptional four-course menu priced at MOP 480* per person will be available at Portofino. It features tempting selections like white asparagus with sautéed fresh morel mushrooms, soft poached organic egg and chervil vinaigrette; verbena scented chickpea soup with pan roasted scallop; a choice of veal sirloin “Rossini” with goose liver medallion, truffle sauce, scallion-olive oil mashed potatoes and spring vegetables, or barramundi fillet on baby spinach, sautéed clams, spring vegetables and saffron sauce; and strawberry and rhubarb compote with vanilla ice cream and moscato zabaglione to finish.

Bambu
This ever-popular buffet restaurant also joins forces with Canton and Portofino to celebrate Mother's Day by offering a special buffet menu on May 11, featuring enticing selections like honey baked ham, roasted lamb leg with mint sauce, grilled lamb rack with lemon grass, and beef short rib with black pepper sauce.
Lunch is priced at MOP 198* per adult and MOP 99* per child (ages 3-12); and dinner is priced at MOP 288* per adult and MOP 144* per child (ages 3-12).

Mother's Day Menus at Sands Cotai Central
Dynasty 8
The home of classic authentic high-end Chinese cuisine, Dynasty 8 is offering a special lunch set menu at MOP 1,388* (for four people) and MOP 3,988* (for eight people); and a dinner set menu at MOP 2,288* (for four people) and MOP 5,888* (for eight people) during the weekend of May 10-11. Mother diners will also receive a free gift exclusively from Dynasty 8 to warm their hearts. Special menu selections include bird's nest soup with black truffles and scrambled egg white, wok-fried scallops and diced beef tenderloin with chili sauce, and braised vegetables with sliced abalone.

Grand Orbit
Representinga culinary journey around the globe, this popular buffet restaurant offers irresistible, elaborate menus during the weekend of May 10-11. Lunch buffet is served noon to 3 p.m. and is priced at MOP 258* per adult and MOP 129* per child (ages 5-12); and dinner buffet is served from 5:30-8 p.m. and 8:30-11 p.m., and is priced at MOP 398* per adult and MOP 199* per child (ages 5-12).
