As well as traditional Hogmanay celebrations and a magnificent fireworks display, Eriska's five star New Year package offers an array of locally sourced and freshly prepared food, served in the hotel's exquisite Michelin starred restaurant. Fish comes from the surrounding waters, meat from the nearby hills and game is provided by local gamekeepers. Optional events will take place throughout the festive period and include the legendary Eriska treasure hunt from the front door, the Eriska Highland Games and the 1st 2017 Eriska Open Golf Championship on New Year's Day. Guests are also invited to dance the night away with Paddy Shaw and his Scottish Country Dance Band in the Drawing Room on New Year's Day.

The island is a haven for local wildlife and boasts countless nature trails. Otter spotting on Eriska's beautiful untouched beach is a popular activity for those wishing to blow out the cobwebs and spend time relaxing with family.

For those guests looking to indulge in a spot of pampering and relaxation, Eriska's highly trained therapists will be on hand every day in the Stables Spa, offering luxurious ESPA and organic Ishga seaweed treatments.

There are 25 sumptuous bedrooms in the main hotel. For families or those seeking privacy and total seclusion, the Luxury Spa Suites and the two bedroom Cottage Suites located beyond the main house, are the perfect option. They come complete with their own private hot tubs where guests can relax and enjoy a warming glass of local whisky in style.

Easily accessible from Oban, Connel Airport, Glasgow and Edinburgh, guests can arrive by car, boat, or even aboard a private sea plane from Glasgow Airport.
