With the Easter holidays fast approaching and following the success of its previous “Sarojin Cares” packages, the luxurious boutique residence, The Sarojin, has launched a new package for travellers wanting to enjoy quality time with their loved ones. Perfect for those looking to travel with a mixture of family members or a group of friends this Easter, the “Sarojin Cares Fun For All” package is also great for those wanting to travel more consciously as it combines a luxurious stay (with flexible room sizes and options to cater to different group sizes) and activities and dining experiences tailored for small groups with volunteering opportunities to help the local community and environment.
Starting from THB 168,668 (approx. £3,840*), a group of four* can enjoy 5-nights in a spacious 2-Bedroom Pool Residence (boasting 215 sqm., a tour of the residence is available here), a 'private charter excursion aboard the Lady Sarojin yacht' to the Surin or Similan islands, a 'Catch and Dine' private fishing experience by longtail boat, a 'Private Beach BBQ' at the resort's secluded beach, a 'Glimpse of Local Life, Cycling Adventure Through Historic Takuapa' private bespoke tour, all day a la carte breakfast with sparkling wine served until 6pm and private transfers to/from Phuket International Airport. As part of the package, guests can opt to join The Sarojin team on their regular 'Sarojin Cares' volunteer days in the community or take part in the resort's ongoing beach, coastal and mangrove and environmental care activities.
The group can begin their stay by spending a day exploring the area's stunning national marine parks and underwater beauty with a private charter aboard the Lady Sarojin to the Surin or Similan islands, world-renowned beauties of the Andaman Sea. Both are located approximately one hour from the resort's shoreline and boast stunning reefs and sea life offering guests superb snorkelling and diving spots. Private charter experiences are inclusive of dive equipment, guides and towels, as well as gourmet lunch and all-day open bar serving sparkling wine, beer, spirits and hot and cold beverages, allowing guests to sit back, refuel and take in the beautiful views.
The 'Catch and Dine' private fishing experience guarantees another day of sea adventure tailored just for the group. Departing from the jetty by longtail fishing boat with a Sarojin guide and experienced local fisherman, guests embark on the adventure of finding the area's best fishing spots. Here they will have the opportunity to catch some of the world's most popular fish, including tuna and red or white snapper, and learn all there is to know about a day in a life of a local fisherman. Back at the resort in the afternoon, the freshly caught “fish of the day” is expertly cooked according to a specifically-designed menu by Executive Chef Gogh, who creates his dishes purposely for the type of fish being caught that day, and served for dinner at The Edge restaurant.
The package also offers those travelling together this Easter the opportunity to explore Khao Lak's beautiful landscapes and authentic Thai ambiance with a 'Glimpse of Local Life, Cycling Adventure Through Historic Takuapa', a further private bespoke excursion tailor-made just for the group. Departing The Sarojin in the morning for Takuapa town (ancient provincial capital), the group will cycle to the old town discovering some of the area's hidden gems, cultural highlights and important monuments. Having glided past a Chinese temple and through the old town's Sino-Portuguese streets, guests can enjoy refreshments at a local tea shop before continuing on to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside and lunch at a local restaurant.
After all the exploration activities, guests can enjoy a relaxing dinner on The Sarojin's stunning 11k stretch of secluded white sand beach. With the 'Private Beach BBQ', guests are treated to their very own beach BBQ while admiring the picturesque backdrop of the sea. As night falls, the beach is illuminated by candles so guests can sit back and relax under the moonlight – and perhaps start planning their next adventure together!
The spacious 2-Bedroom Pool Residences provide the perfect relaxing oasis boasting two luxurious bedrooms each with its own ensuite couples bathroom, a 5.5m x 3.5m private pool and two shaded Thai garden sala pavilions, the residences are idyllically tucked away in a tropical garden setting – and with all day a la carte breakfast served until 6pm, there is no rush at The Sarojin for those group members wanting to enjoy a holiday lie in after a few days of action.
And for those wanting to do more, there are plentiful options available at The Sarojin for guests to enjoy with complimentary mountain bikes to explore on land or/and sailing catamarans, sail boats, sea kayaks and windsurfing boards for those more tempted by the water. The Sarojin Community Care Fund
Established in December 2004 The Sarojin Community Care Fund, which was initially set up to help rebuild the communities surrounding our resort in the wake of the devastating 26 December tsunami, continues to contribute to a number of worthy local projects in Khao Lak. From providing medical provision for prosthetic limbs and supporting local orphanages with childcare, to building school classrooms, roads and covering the cost of a full-time veterinary surgeon to care for the local wildlife, there's such a huge variety of ways our fund gives back to those closest to us. Guests are encouraged to donate to the fund during their stay, with 100% of the money raised distributed to local community projects.
