Celebrate All Things Asparagus This Spring With Puma Hotels

The Hotel Collection

See what all the aspara-fuss is about!

To join in with the celebration of all things asparagus this spring, The Lygon Arms is offering an Asparafest package for those who just cannot get enough of this delicious green vegetable. The offer will run parallel to the asparagus appreciation festival ‘Asparafest’ which takes place in the Vale of Evesham, just a stone's throw from The Lygon Arms. The hotel will host a packed schedule of exciting asparagus-related events, from themed menus to fortune telling by an ‘asparamancer’ who claims to predict the future using asparagus tips.

Perhaps one of the most unusual events on the national calendar, the eight-week British Asparagus Festival kicks off in late April and climaxes at the beginning of June with the popular Asparafest on 1 and 2 June. This year’s event is set to feature live music, food, drink and fun all combined in a festival setting with appearances by Gus the Asparagus Man, fortune telling by ‘Asparamancer’ Jemima Packington and the crowning of the ‘King of Asparagus’.

Located just two miles from the Vale of Evesham, in the pretty village of Broadway, the four star Lygon Arms is one of the most famous hotels in the Cotswolds and has been welcoming guests since the 16th century. To celebrate Asparafest, The Lygon Arms is offering a special asparagus-themed package, as well as a themed dinner for guests to enjoy:
