Cayman Islands Department of Tourism to Attend Travmedia's IMM 2019 for Fifth Year in a Row

Cayman Islands Department of Tourism

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has exhibited at Travmedia's IMM for five years running, making it a day that is firmly fixed in our annual calendar.

The event is a fantastic way to make new relationships with media as well as offering the opportunity to catch up with existing contacts. Having the time to get out and meet journalists is always a struggle for time-poor PRs so being able to have so many face-to-face sessions with media all in one day is invaluable. In fact, we can often plan our entire press trip programme for the year, just from attending IMM. Follow-up is always quick and not only do we end the day with new contacts, but we also leave with new story and campaign ideas for the future.

The 15-minute meeting format ensures succinct and precise discussions and the ability to pre-book appointments means that meetings are valuable for both sides. The networking opportunities both during lunch and at the evening drinks guarantee even more of a chance to speak with media and gain those all-important quality contacts.

IMM 2019 will no doubt be as successful and rewarding as in previous years and the addition of the sit-UP day will only strengthen its place as the go-to event for travel PRs and travel media alike.
