Remote workers from all over the world have already found a home in Cascais, and now the famous Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards have also succumbed to its charms.
Cascais Tourism won the famous “Dolphin” award in the “Tourism Films – Destinations – Cities” category, at the festival that celebrates the best in world corporate communication, each year.
The “It Works for you” campaign, produced in partnership with the DNA Cascais entrepreneurial ecosystem, caught the eye of the judges, who awarded Cascais yet another prize that strengthens the region's tourism offer and boosts the promotion strategy of the town that stands ready to “welcome you for a day, or for a lifetime!”.
Bernardo Corrêa de Barros, Chairman of Cascais Tourism, highlighted the importance of this award. “Cascais is, in itself, an unforgettable plot for any film, but the international recognition of the communication of our destination is a crucial indicator of the success of our strategy. The 'It works for you' film and campaign brings together in one script our two main protagonists: an award-winning destination and a world-renowned corporate communication strategy”.
In this film Cascais is shown in contrast with London, which stands in for other world capitals, inviting all digital nomads to come and experience a destination on the Atlantic which boasts 30 km of coast and 300 days of sun per year. A real workation (work + vacation) experience that is showcased in this award-winning production, aimed at the over 35 million remote workers across the globe.
