Guests are invited to dress in their finest black ties, ball gowns and elaborate disguises for this exclusive ball, complete with drinks reception, three course dinner and evening entertainment from The Vernon Sisters.

With elaborate, gothic chandeliers, a minstrel's gallery an intricately painted Venetian ceiling and 16 beautiful bedrooms, Carlton Towers is a unique location for a romantic Valentine's evening with your partner in this magnificent stately home.

Think 'Casanova' and be swept away with the air of mystique from the Venetian Masquerade theme. With a black tie dress code, it's an excuse for guests to show off their best costumes, disguise themselves behind an elaborate mask and find out who knows them best with a big reveal at midnight!

After guests have finished their delicious 3 course meal, they are invited to dance away the evening to the sounds of smooth jazz from The Vernon Sisters.

To truly appreciate the grandeur of this historic country estate, guests can extend the masquerade experience and stay overnight in one of the 16 exquisite bedrooms.

The residential package includes dinner, overnight accommodation and full Yorkshire breakfast the following morning for £290 per couple.

The Vernon Sisters is a family business with generations of musicians and entertainers on both sides of the family, hence the choice of group name - 'Vernon' is not the sisters' surname, but that of the first-born son of the last 5 generations on their father's side, who, incidentally, were all musicians.

The eldest sister, Lorna, although an accomplished musician in her own right decided to study business at university and now provides clients with an efficient and friendly service behind the scenes. Rebecca, Sophia and Tasmin upon leaving school in the UK moved to Palma de Mallorca, where they attended an American College and began their career in music.
