After 38 years at the same location on the Las Vegas Strip, the Candlelight Wedding Chapel will be moving further North on the Boulevard closer to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau. The completion of the new, state of the art wedding chapel to be built is scheduled to be late January, 2005.
On September 30, 2004 the Candlelight Wedding Chapel will cease its operations at the Algier's Motel location to make way for a high-rise Condominium/Hotel project. During the building phase of the new chapel, The Candlelight will be performing ceremonies at an interim chapel commencing October 1st, 2004. All wedding packages, prices, limousine service, helicopter weddings, personnel and phone numbers will remain the same.
"There's a silver lining in every cloud", says General Manager, Brandon Reed. "We hate to leave this spot; it's been such an icon for Las Vegas, but at the same time, we're excited about being closer to the License Bureau and being able to build a brand new building that will have all of the digital and technical equipment that's in such high demand in today's wedding market." The chapel will maintain it's original look and classic feel, but will feature the most state of the art digital and electronic video and photo equipment that logistically could never have been used at the previous location.
