Camping Cats? Dogs at Dude Ranches? Parrots in Parks? AAA PetBook� Photo Contest Seeks Best Pictures of Pets on Vacation

Millions of Americans will take their pets on vacation this year and many will bring back the photos to prove it. AAA wants to see these pictures as part of its first-ever �Traveling With Your Pet�The AAA PetBook�� photo contest.

Photos must feature at least one pet and have a travel theme. The winning entry will become a cover photo on the 7th edition of �Traveling With Your Pet�The AAA PetBook�.� The winner will receive a $100 prize, pet travel accessories and five copies of the book. Three runners-up will receive free copies of the book.

�Traveling With Your Pet�The AAA PetBook�� lists more than 12,000 properties across the United States and Canada that accept pets, including any fees and restrictions imposed by the hotels. It also includes information on preparing your pet for travel, how to pack for your pet and selecting a carrier or crate. The book offers special advice on traveling by car or air, what to do in an emergency and travel between Canada and the United States.

To enter the contest and for contest rules, log on to www.aaa.com/PetBook. Entries can be submitted electronically or by mail. Entries must be received by Nov. 30, 2004.

�Traveling With Your Pet�The AAA PetBook�� is available at AAA club offices, online at www.aaa.com/barnesandnoble and at bookstores. It sells for $16.95 US/$26.50 CDN.
