Cambridge Style Week returns to the city with 7 Fashion shows over 5 days.  26th -30th March 2014

At Cambridge Style Week, we believe that personal style affects the way we think, the way we feel, the way we act and the way others react to us. Cambridge Style Week is dedicated to sharing knowledge and skills for stylish living in order to inspire confidence. Our continuous commitment to empowering people while supporting the fashion-forward local talent and businesses of Cambridge, is celebrated with an annual, week-long style extravaganza.

We aim to bring businesses, the public and students together in a fun way, through events, catwalk shows and volunteering opportunities.  We are pleased to support the NSPCC and our partner charity, Born to be Beautiful.  Born to Be Beautiful  is a charity providing beauty therapy training and skills to victims of abject poverty and modern day slavery, restoring dignity and hope to lives devastated by exploitation.

Cambridge Style Week 2014, A Celebration of Style, is set to celebrate all that is stylish in Cambridge, will run from 26th - 30th March 2014 at the University Arms Hotel, Cambridge.

Alongside the catwalk shows, Cambridge Style Week also aims to innovate, inform, inspire through a mentoring programme for young designers and hopeful innovators. By including skills training and mentoring, the Week hopes to increase employability and entrepreneurship amongst the many young and stylish people of Cambridgeshire. Because of this, CSW is partnering closely with The Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin. CSW is working with students from various sixth form colleges, Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University, who are gaining valuable skills working as volunteers and interns.

With our first CSW Innovate business conference on 28th March 2014, we aim to help Cambridgeshire businesses become better and more profitable through business focussed training from top Cambridgeshire businesses and headline talks from top UK businesses.

Cambridge Style Week is proving to be a great way for the public, students and business community to come together in an exciting collaboration.  Director, Nicky Shepard says, 'It regularly amazes me how much local people and businesses are willing to give to make this event a success. Many of our volunteers are working or studying full time alongside helping us to make this event even bigger and better than last year.'

With over 100 volunteers, 30 business partners, and 4 main sponsors, Cambridge BID, Fratelli Hair, Clamp Optometrists and Robinsons Mercedes-Benz, this year's event is looking to be better than ever.
