Skyros Holidays

The Skyros-in-Cambodia Adventure offers a guided overland tour of this country's hidden treasures with courses, fabulous food, a beautiful environment and the opportunity to meet an interesting mix of people. Whether trekking in the jungle or visiting the world-famous Angkor temples, a UNESCO world heritage site, you'll get a glimpse of Cambodia that tourists seldom see. Meditate amongst these inspirational places and capture the moment with photography and art: www.skyros.com

Join Skyros in Cambodia, home to the renowned ancient temples of Angkor Wat, a UNESCO world heritage site. The adventure begins in Phnom Penh, a city renowned for its eclectic mix of restaurants, nightlife and shopping, before continuing to the town of Battambang for three nights in its old French quarter. Trek along Phnom Sampov mountain and visit temples and caves near Ton Le Sap lake. Then the tour will move onto the beautiful city of Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat, where guests will enjoy four nights at the 5-star Sokka Angkor hotel.

With true Skyros flair, during the trip there will be the opportunity to learn aspects of drawing and photography with Kel Portman amidst the inspirational landscape. There are also options to try meditation in the temples, take advantage of the personal development options and experience the rich culture of a country bound by a difficult but defining past.

This is a very special holiday, with all the very best that Skyros can offer, and that traditional tours cannot match. The small group and community atmosphere make this the perfect option for solo travellers. The price, £1,145, includes courses, trips, half board meals and 9 nights accommodation in a twin-share room. www.skyros.com
