The 5* L'Assiette Champenoise (sometimes known as Ch'teau de la Muire) is a family run hotel just outside the city of Reims and has been newly refurbished to ooze luxury and class, perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway.

This new Exclusive Champagne break by Grape Escapes gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy a luxurious level of service as well as a gastronomic gala dinner at the award winning restaurant. Each dish is paired with a different Champagne by the restaurant's sommelier taking visitors on a true gastronomic voyage of discovery.

Apart from a dinner prepared by Chef Lallement, the break will include a full day guided VIP tour and a visit of your preferred prestigious Champagne House including a visit of their cellars and Champagne tasting. This is followed by a visit to a smaller family run producer of Grand Cru Champagnes and a lesson in the art of sabrage. Visitors will also enjoy a glass of Dom Perignon in the small picturesque town of Hautvillers overlooking the vineyards and once home to the abbey where the famous monk once lived, before returning to the hotel.
