Call for media entries about Canada as  travel destination

Destination Canada is pleased to announce the call for submissions for this years Explore Canada Awards of Excellence.  This annual celebration of excellence in travel journalism honours outstanding pieces of content and the efforts made to bring them to life.

This year, 11 media awards will be granted to recognise the very best Canadian travel story telling published in Destination Canada's International markets (One award per country): Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, United Kingdom and the United States, plus an additional media award for Canada.

The winner from each international market will be announced in September in the lead up to this year's GO MEDIA event in Calgary, Alberta.

The deadlne to submit entries is Monday July 16th, 2018.  Pieces must have  been generated by attending a Destination Canada event such as GO MEDIA, a DC supported fam, or from meeting a Canada representative at an industry event such as IMM/ANTOR Meets the Media, etc.
