By George - We'd Still Rather Have A Cup Of Tea...

Marketing Birmingham

Is Britains cappuccino culture a frothy fallacy? It is according to a recent survey that says we are still officially a nation of tea drinkers.

visitbirmingham.com asked 2000 UK adults for their first choice cuppa and 39% picked tea as their best beverage in the morning at weekends compared with only 8% who chose a cappuccino!

Fitting really as Birmingham grocer John Sumner invented the well known Ty.phoo tea brand in his city-based tea shop in 1903.
