Burnbrae Wines is one of the five Mudgee finalists in the 2013 CountryLink Inland Tourism Awards. There were 41 finalists across 20 categories this year. The Awards recognise excellence in tourism across four inland areas including Central, Inland, Murray and Riverina
Established in 1968, Burnbrae is an historic and charming vineyard offering a complete Mudgee winery experience - seriously medalled wines, a well -hosted cellar door, stunning grounds and function facilities, and a charming 'home stay' historic wine makers cottage.
Burnbrae is located only 9 kms from the town of Mudgee NSW in the pretty Erudgere Valley on Hill End Road.
Trine Gay, Burnbrae's General Manager said her team was delighted to be finalists in the important regional awards for the second consecutive year. "The Awards are a great promotional tool for Burnbrae and for Mudgee. For us it brings tourism recognition of a family owned winery offering a stunning backdrop for hospitality events."
"We run functions alfresco in our garden, our function centre 'The Verandah', and on the floor of the actual winery - all fully catered with local award winning chefs and several times a year, with guest chefs from the city or other regions."
Burnbrae has an Event Manager who is on hand to help with wedding and personal function planning.
The 2013 CountryLink Inland NSW Tourism winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Moree on Saturday 27th July.
