Buena Park's Exciting Summer Attractions

Visit California

Buena Park, located in the heart of Southern California, has become the destination of choice for those looking for a wonderful stay in Orange County. In summer 2001 Buena Park will reinforce its reputation as exciting and fun-filled with a number of new attractions for visitors to experience.

Buena Park is home to major attractions including Movieland Wax Museum, Ripleys Believe It or Not! Museum, Wild Bills Wild West Dinner Extravaganza, Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, Knotts Soak City U.S.A. and Knotts Berry Farm.

Buena Park is proud to announce the arrival of yet another wonderful entertainment and dining experience Tibbies Music Hall. Tibbies Music Hall has been in existence for over 20 years and has recently re-located to the Sequoia Conference Center in Buena Park. It provides visitors with a multi-talented cast of performers and live musicians for three hours of fun, frolic and fantastic food.

Movieland Wax Museum has added a new groovy figure Austin Powers. The Museum, which already boasts a cast of over 300 wax figures, welcomed the British import in May. Movieland Wax Museum is the most unique House of Wax and one of the world's largest wax museums, hosting the most recognizable and admired stars from stage, screen and television.

Entertainment abounds at Knotts Berry Farm this summer as they debut Snoopys Rockin Summer celebration with a special ice show exhibits and surprises guaranteed to rock your socks! Across the road, visitors can cool down at Knotts Soak City USA, Southern Californias newest and wildest water adventure park. Containing 21 acres of intense water rides, the park is themed on 1950s California surfing!

The excitement continues at the Buena Park Mall! After opening two new powerhouse superstores in 2000 Old Navy and Bed, Bath & Beyond the newly redeveloped mall is setting the stage for yet another addition. Park Central, scheduled to break ground in 2001, will be a 150,000 square foot entertainment complex. Park Central will include an 18-screen theatre, a variety of themed restaurants, specialty retailers and entertainment-driven attractions.
