Well known British Wildlife artist, Brin Edwards, will be in residence at the boutique all-inclusive East Winds Inn week commencing 14 September 2014. Guests in-house will be invited to join the following activities and events during the week at no extra cost.

• Teaching mornings* with the artist concentrating on landscapes and botanical subjects in watercolour
• Private viewing event with Champagne in the Club House, and a presentation by Brin Edwards
• Original artwork on display - Brin has illustrated the hotel's Christmas card for many years 
• Bird watching day trip available to all guests during the week with the artist and a local guide

 ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Brin is a member of the UK's SWLA Society of Wildlife Artists and has been involved in the organisation for many years. He works mainly in oils and concentrates mostly on birds as wildlife subjects. He is particularly interested in the effects of light, often using light as the starting point for the paintings – the birds then follow. “I strongly believe that such images deliver from a distance. By which I mean step back from the painting and the colours and tones begin to work as a whole, look close and you'll find less not more.
