British Annual Canada Travel Awards Winners are Announced
For 26 years Destination Canada and industry partners have been honouring excellence in promoting Canada and 2016 is no different. Winners at the 2016 British Annual Canada Travel Awards (BACTA) event, were revealed at an awards dinner on Thursday March 3rd. The event returned to Canada House, on Trafalgar Square after a 25 year gap, with Regional Managing Director, Europe, Australia and India, Rupert Peters saying on the night ' it was good to be back'!
Destination Canada was delighted to be working in partnership with Tourism Yukon, Destination British Columbia, Travel Alberta, Travel Manitoba, Tourism Saskatchewan, Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership , Tourism Quebec, Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership and Air Canada to host approx. 175 guests at what proved to be a glittering night.

Presented by Destination Canada this award is all about those who have gone above and beyond in their promotion of Canada this year whether it is through an innovative campaign, adding new Canada product and experiences to their existing programme or truly embracing our Keep Exploring Brand.
