British Airways Launches First Chauffeur Service

British Airways

British Airways has announced the July 1 launch of a First chauffeur service for customers travelling to and from Sydney, meaning passengers can enjoy a superior level of service from door to door.*

From July 1, 2013, First customers travelling to and from Sydney International Airport, and travelling on flight numbers BA15 and BA16, will be able to book a complimentary Jaguar chauffeur drive transfer.

"British Airways is very proud of our First offering and the elegant and sophisticated experience that we are able to provide to our premium customers throughout their journey," said Nicole Backo, British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, South West Pacific. "The launch of a chauffeur service in Sydney is an exciting addition to our premium offering, and we look forward to providing our First passengers with the best of British service as they come and go from Sydney."

The introduction of the Sydney chauffeur service is just the latest enhancement that British Airways has introduced on the Australian route in 2013. In April of this year, the airline introduced the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Sydney to London service, providing passengers with the very latest onboard cabins and services. In addition to this, the Australian service now flies into Heathrow Terminal 5, British Airways' award winning home in London. Arriving into T5, voted as the world's best airport terminal by Skytrax, Australian customers can enjoy access to beautiful lounges, over 100 retail and dining experiences, and smoother connections to British Airways' extensive network of European destinations.
