3 JUNE 2026, BRISBANE - Brisbane born distillery BY.ARTISANS marks their official Singapore market entry with a week-long cocktail activation as part of Singapore Cocktail Crossover 2026 (SGCX). Running from 9 to 14 June 2026, SGCX is Singapore's premier cocktail festival, celebrating cocktails across lifestyle, food, music and culture.

BY.ARTISANS will be pouring its flagship BY. Lone Pine Eucalyptus Gin across bar pop-ups throughout the city and anchoring a dedicated weekend residency at The Mett Hotel, putting a distinctly Queensland spirit at the centre of Singapore's cocktail week. The timing coincides with BY.ARTISANS being named a finalist for Emerging Distillery of the Year 2026 by the Australian Distillers Association (ADA), a significant acknowledgement for a distillery that launched just 18 months ago.

BRISBANE ON THE WORLD STAGE

Brisbane is entering one of the most significant periods in its history. As the city prepares to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the window to establish Brisbane's identity on the world stage is growing exponentially. BY.ARTISANS sees its role clearly in that context, with the distillery making a deliberate commitment to representing Brisbane, and Queensland overall, at the highest level of premium spirits, both domestically and in international markets.

"Brisbane is on the cusp of a defining decade. The 2032 Olympics will put this city in front of the world, and the story Brisbane tells between now and then will shape how we are remembered long after the Games are over. BY.ARTISANS exists to be part of that story. We want Queensland spirits to be synonymous with quality, purpose and provenance on the world stage, and we intend to earn that position one market at a time." - Ginn Lai, Co-Founder, BY.ARTISANS

It's signature BY. Lone Pine Eucalyptus Gin is perhaps the clearest expression of that philosophy. "We make a gin that belongs to this land. The eucalyptus comes from Queensland, the conservation story is Queensland, the whole spirit is Queensland. When we pour this in Singapore or Tokyo or Beijing, we are not just selling a drink. We are saying something about where we come from and what we stand for." - Alex Bell, Co-Founder and Master Distiller, BY.ARTISANS

LONE PINE EUCALYPTUS GIN

The gin at the centre of the Singapore activation was born from a genuinely unconventional idea: repurpose eucalyptus leaves from koala feed-outs at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the world's oldest and largest koala sanctuary, as a distinctive botanical in a premium Australian gin. Five percent of every bottle sold supports wildlife and habitat conservation.

The gin is produced in-house at BY.ARTISANS' West End distillery using the brand's own mash tun and filter press, with a production capacity of approximately 350,000 bottles per year. The facility was purpose-built for premium quality and efficient scale, designed to grow without compromising the product.

A RELATIONSHIP BUILT BEFORE THE BOTTLES ARRIVED

BY.ARTISANS' relationship with Singapore began well before any commercial transaction. In early 2026, the distillery was invited as Experience Partner for a diplomatic function co-hosted by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Singapore Government. G'Day by the Bay celebrated the bilateral ties between Australia and Singapore, and BY.ARTISANS created a signature cocktail using Lone Pine Eucalyptus Gin for the event, working alongside Qantas and celebrated Australian chef Neil Perry's F&B team. The audience was diplomats, government representatives and senior industry guests from both nations.

That activation opened doors and from June 2026, BY.ARTISANS will begin exporting to Singapore with a clear focus on premium placements across bars, hotels, private members' clubs and curated retail.

SINGAPORE COCKTAIL WEEK

BY.ARTISANS will bring its distinctly Australian spirit to Singapore Cocktail Crossover through a series of immersive experiences across the festival weekend. Kicking off with a special one-night-only takeover at Sago House on 11 June, the brand will present Smoke & Bitters, a collaboration celebrating craft cocktails, art and nature, featuring serves built around its signature Lone Pine Eucalyptus Gin alongside a live art activation by Singapore-based artist Neha Dubey.

Festival goers can also continue the experience at the Grand Ballroom at METT Singapore across the weekend of 13 - 14 June, where BY.ARTISANS will showcase its premium portfolio amongst some of the region's leading craft spirits and cocktail talent.
