On June 11, 2004, the Candlelight Wedding Chapel will be accompanying high level officials from the State of Nevada and a string of other delegates to officially open a tourism office in Beijing. The state of Nevada leads the pack of 'heavy hitters' such as California, Hawaii and New York to be the first from the United States to be represented.

"In a country where there are over a billion people and roughly seven percent of that were brides and grooms last year, it just makes sense that we introduce ourselves to this market" says Brandon Reed, General Manager of the Candlelight Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

"Roughly 35 percent of our overall business comes from overseas" says Reed. "We can see the potential and value of the Chinese wedding market; it has the possibility of becoming our largest international market."
