The world's largest and most recognised hotel brand, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, has long been trusted to be there for the moments that matter to travellers - the precious time away where family and friends can reconnect and make lifelong memories together.

As part of a reinvigoration of the brand in Australasia, Holiday Inn has launched a new campaign to celebrate the return to travel and welcome guests back to their hotels for the missed holiday moments and “Brighter Stays Ahead”.

Holiday Inn is not only looking to brighter stays but to brighter hotels with the opening of three next-generation design properties in Australia and New Zealand over the next 12 months that feature bright and contemporary room design, stylish suites, innovative shared open spaces and incredible new food and drink experiences.

Matt Tripolone, IHG's Managing Director – Australasia & Pacific, said “Holiday Inn has made its mark as one of Australasia's fastest growing hotel brands, and we are thrilled to be adding so many new state-of-the-art designed properties to the Holiday Inn family.

“The brand continues to undergo its biggest transformation in 20 years rolling out new contemporary design hotels with transformed public spaces that are warm and inviting and offer the flexibility for guests or the public to meet, socialise or work.“

“The 'Open Lobby' concept is a new brand standard across Holiday Inn properties in Australasia that will revolutionise the guest experience and demonstrate IHG's commitment to reinvigorating an iconic brand coming up to its 70th year in 2022.” said Tripolone.

Holiday Inn Werribee was the first of these hotels to open in July and where the new open plan lobby made its debut. With its sleek lounge area and corner bar offering wide-ranging city views, all day dining options as well as flexible work and media areas, this hotel is a great example of the vibrant and stylish new look.

IHG Hotels & Resorts have also opened Holiday Inn West Perth this month, converting from the Sage Hotel and there is an impressive pipeline that includes Holiday Inn Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne, Holiday Inn Dandenong and Holiday Inn Suites in Wagga Wagga and Holiday Inn Suites in Geelong with more new hotels to follow.

Whether it be the long-awaited family reunion, the first time without the kids escape, the girls' weekend, the golf weekend or the quick getaway, the 'Brighter Stays Ahead' campaign is about reclaiming the travel moments we have all missed during the pandemic and celebrating the simple things that feel new and exciting again.

Holiday Inn have made it simple for all travellers to find great value for money holidays this summer – for families- kids under 12 stay and eat for free and if it is a workcation, there are fantastic deals available for mid-week stays with up to 45% off.
