Leading luxury luggage manufacturer Briggs & Riley has launched its first-ever hard-sided range of cases called 'Torq'.

As with all Briggs & Riley products, the cases come with a lifetime, no questions asked, warranty.

The range is comprised of three cases: a Carry-on Spinner (which meets the regulations of most UK airlines) and a medium and large Spinner.

The cases are made of durable, three-layer, 100% virgin Makrolon® polycarbonate, which is high in strength and lightweight, yet provides both elasticity and resiliency.

Torq is available in three colours, cobalt, graphite and ruby and provide the expected durability of hard-sided luggage but with the versatility of a traditional suitcase.

Other features of note include:

• Padded slip lid pocket which holds an iPad or tablet in or out of its case (Carry On bag)

• Briggs & Riley's unique 'Outsider' handle allows wrinkle-free flat packing interior and greater packing space

• 80/20 top lid opening allowing bag to be packed on a luggage rack or bed like a traditional suitcase

• Moulded compression panel keeps clothing flat, minimising wrinkling, and prevents contents from shifting in transit

• Aircraft-grade aluminium telescopic handle system, with three stop heights: 34 inches, 37 inches, and 40 inches (medium
  and large bags only)

• The Briggs & Riley Control Panel with integrated TSA-friendly combination lock secures contents in main and front compartments

• 'Smartlink' system strap that enables two or more bags to be transported as one

• Recessed double spinner wheels for lower centre of gravity and effortless 360° navigation, with steel components for added durability
