Four Musical Performance Acts Serenade Climbers 134m High for the Best Sydney Sunsets of the Year
Twilight Climbs on all weekends in July and August, will see four local musical artists booked to serenade Climbers at the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the sun sets behind the horizon.
After a bucket-list journey ascending the iconic Bridge to a unique vantage point 134m above the harbour, a series of musicians, comprised of three duos and one singer-songwriter, will await Climbers at the top with acoustic instruments safely attached and in hand.
There they will perform for each group as they climb the final stairs to the summit, in the genres of art folk, soulful reggae and Americana inspired folk music.
Enhancing the experience, Sydney's winter delivers many of the best sunsets of the year. The air is crisp and clear which enables more light to enter and travel through the atmosphere to create more vibrant shades of pink, purple and red before the sun sets.
The 2017 program is a development to last year's Sunset Sessions, which saw a barbershop quartet perform at the Summit on Sunday twilight climbs in July.
This unique musical BridgeClimb experience is a special addition for Twilight Climbers, and is included in the standard price of the ticket.
The top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the world's most romantic locations and has seen more than 5,000 engagements, countless anniversary celebrations and 29 weddings.
BridgeClimb offers a truly memorable experience, perfect for special occasions, family adventures, team building and corporate events. Information on and tickets for all BridgeClimb experiences are available at www.bridgeclimb.com or call (02) 8274 7777.
