BRANSON, Mo. (May 22, 2026) —On June 14, Branson is throwing a record-breaking party for America's 250th Anniversary. It's where the Red, White, and Blue are flown proudly, and where the spirit of patriotism is woven into every shop, show, and event. This celebration will take place on the top floor of the parking garage at the Branson Convention Center in Historic Downtown Branson.
A one-of-a-kind Guinness World Record will be attempted on flag day, creating a mosaic out of red, white, and blue custom Branson flags covering more than 1,200 square feet of space. This mosaic will feature the letter B from the Branson logo, along with the signature star. This World Record has never been set before, is the only Flag Day World Record attempting to be set with flags, and spectators are welcome. Review, photography, and judging of the World Record will feature an official Guinness World Record judge, drone photography, a land surveyor, and hundreds of flags. The flags will also be available for purchase after the event for residents and visitors to own a piece of history.
“The 250th Anniversary of our country is a once in a lifetime experience and we wanted to do it in grand style in one of the most patriotic places in America,” said Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Heather Hermen. “Our community has wholeheartedly embraced this celebration, and we invite our local residents, visitors, and media to join us, and wear your best red, white, and blue to join in the fun.”
