What is branded content? Is it the same as sponsored content, advertorials and content marketing? How does it work and how do you get into it? Join Sarah Jewell, commercial features editor at Guardian Labs, Dan Linstead, head of branded content at Immediate Media, Rosie Fitzgerald, special features editor at Wanderlust magazine, and Ross Clarke, journalist and content marketing consultant to find out more in this BGTW Talks Travel webinar on Thursday 24th March at 3pm-4.15pm on Zoom including a Q&A.

Branded content can be lucrative work. Not just because it (usually) pays better than some editorial work, but because it can often come as part of a bigger, longer-running project or be regular. And if you form good relationships with commissioning editors of branded content, they may come to you when there's a new project.

But for some, it remains an elusive industry. So we'll be unpicking exactly what it is by talking to four expert voices in this fields. Whether it's writing advertorial copy for customer or consumer magazines or working on specific campaigns, we'll discuss the skills involved, how they differ from editorial writing, and find out more about the industry.
