CliftonVillage, in the heart of Bristol, is to get its very own festive real ice rink for this winter only.  Clifton on Ice, which will be open daily for five weeks from Thursday 21 November until Sunday 4 January, will be a truly unique urban experience with a mix of both indoor and outdoor skating.  

The centre piece of the attraction will be a rustic bar themed around a Colorado style ski lodge which will be operated by Bath Ales.

The aptly named, Après Skate Bar will be the latest Bristol hot-spot, offering cool skaters the chance to relax in a toasty ski lodge and enjoy a selection of food and drinks after time on the ice.

From its temporary home on Clifton Down Road, Après Skate will serve a select menu of New York inspired Posh Dogs and snacks as well as a variety of Beerd beers and seasonal hot drinks. For those looking for extra fizz, there will also be a 'Bubble bar' menu consisting of champagne and champagne cocktails.
