Charlotte Premium Outlets opened in truly fabulous SIMON® style, with a four-day grand opening celebration from July 31st - August 3rd. Shoppers were treated to live music, entertainment, face-painting, balloon art, prize giveaways and of course, sales galore. Performers on stilts wandered the crowds and a 10-ton sand sculpture depicting the outlet centre was created whilst shoppers strolled through the new village like Centre. TV personality and New York Times bestselling author Bethenny Frankel mixed with shoppers in the VIP Lounge, sharing her top fashion picks for summer before signing autographs and hosting a workshop titled “Accessorizing on the Go: Take your Look from Day to Night.”
With Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH as the Centre's anchor tenant, Charlotte Premium Outlets is also home to such fantastic upscale, fashion forward and designer stores as: Coach, Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, Steve Madden and Kate Spade New York as well as high street favourites - Gap Factory Store, Converse, American Eagle Outfitters and Banana Republic Factory Store, to name a few.
