Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brad Dean has been chosen to serve on the board of directors for the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE).
CACCE was formed in 1994 when the South Carolina and North Carolina Associations of Chamber of Commerce Executives merged. The organization�s mission is to advance leadership and professional development for chambers of commerce through the efforts and resources of association members. CACCE�s programs include an Annual Management Conference, a Leadership Development Conference, a three-year Professional Development Series, and eight to 10 Table Topic Series programs.
�It will be a privilege to serve on the CACCE board,� Dean said. �I look forward to working with peers on goals that are common to chambers throughout the Carolinas, as well as taking advantage of some excellent development programs.�
Dean was named president and CEO of the chamber on October 30, 2003, succeedingthe late Ashby Ward. Prior to that, he served for four years as the chamber�s chief financial officer.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has stood for 63 years as the unified voice of the Grand Strand�s business community. The chamber serves Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, Atlantic Beach, Garden City Beach, Loris, Conway, Aynor, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, and Pawleys Island.
